Combining a creative market, workshops, screenings, and food stalls, ‘Femrise’ is a Berlin festival dedicated to providing a platform for women from diverse cultural backgrounds to showcase their talents and build community. As the art direction lead, I am delighted to contribute to this project and have illustrated the key visual for various uses, including posters, brochures, and social media.
The central concept features three women from different ethnic backgrounds holding hands and dancing, symbolizing joy, unity, and the strength of womanhood. Vibrant, flashy colors convey a sense of energy and celebration, perfectly capturing the festival's spirited atmosphere. This design not only reflects inclusivity but also aims to inspire connection and empowerment among participants. By merging visual storytelling with cultural diversity, the artwork becomes a vibrant invitation to engage, express, and rise together.
